Caregivers Support Group

Good Samaritan Hospice of Madison has initiated a Caregivers Support Group that meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at our office (540 Hughes Rd., Madison, AL) at 12:00 noon (a light lunch will be provided).  Our support group will help you find answers, better understand how your care-giving role is impacting your life, and assist you to find services and resources to help decrease your stress and take better care of yourself and your loved one.  Our support group creats a safe, supportive environment that educates and informs.  It allows the caregiver to become part of a community of people who share common problems and helps the caregiver develop methods and problem solving skills.  It gives the caregiver an opportunity to talk with others and share their feeling and concerns.  Learn how others cope with similar situations.  it encourages participants to maintain personal physical and emotional health.  You are not required to have a family member under hospice care to join us….all caregivers are welcome.  RSVP at 256-772-8108.
